Special Topic: Beginning with Orchids, with Bill Overton
Bill Overton is an American Orchid Society orchid judge with 50 years of experience growing orchids. Bill moved to Michigan after growing orchids in hot and sunny Florida. He currently grows his mixed collection of orchids under lights. Bill will discuss orchid culture and there will be plenty of his tips and tricks during his talk that will interest beginner and experienced hobbyists alike.

The April education meeting is an open forum for your questions. Questions about growing orchids outside during the summer, treating insect pests, repotting, growing orchids in windowsills and general culture are all fair game.
